DEERFIELD, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BAB, Inc. (OTCBB: BABB) announced today that it intends to expand development of its cobranding program with Kaleidoscoops®, a chain of hand-dipped premium ice cream shops.
Currently there are two Kaleidoscoops shops that are co-branded with My Favorite Muffin Xpress, selling BAB’s My Favorite Muffin gourmet muffins, one in Colorado Springs, Colorado and one in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with another due to open in late June in Shreveport, Louisiana. The Kaleidoscoops operators have the option of including any combination of BAB’s My Favorite Muffin®, Big Apple Bagels®, or Brewster’s® Coffee brands. A new My Favorite Muffin bakery-café, now under development in Maryville, Missouri will be the first BAB franchise to be cobranded with Kaleidoscoops. The unit is expected to open in late summer.
Management at BAB and Kaleidoscoops believe the brands compliment each other for purposes of generating revenue during the off dayparts of each, in addition to creating greater variety for the customer during the overlapping peak times. Gerald E.
