IAOP Names CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. Among Top Outsourcing Providers for Fifth Time

Inducts Bill Concannon into Hall of Fame

LOS ANGELES--()--The International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP) has named CB Richard Ellis Group, Inc. (NYSE:CBG) to its Global Outsourcing 100 list for the fifth straight year, and has honored its president of Global Corporate Services, William F. Concannon, as the first real estate services professional inducted into its Outsourcing Hall of Fame.

The 2011 Global Outsourcing 100 recognizes the world’s best outsourcing service providers across all industries, and is based on applications received and evaluated by an independent panel of judges organized by IAOP. CB Richard Ellis is the commercial real estate industry’s premier provider of corporate and institutional services globally. The company offers an unrivaled suite of outsourcing services including transaction management, facilities management, consulting services, project management, lease administration, property management, development services, and capital markets solutions. CB Richard Ellis has been recognized as a leading provider of commercial real estate services in IAOP’s Global Outsourcing 100 for the past five years.

Mr. Concannon has been an innovator in delivering outsourcing solutions that help add value and enable space occupiers to focus on their core competencies for more than 20 years. In the late 1980s, he launched the commercial real estate industry’s first outsourcing service line at Trammell Crow Company and has been a driving force behind the growth of outsourcing across the industry over the past two decades. Trammell Crow Company was acquired by CB Richard Ellis in 2006.

Established by IAOP in 2006, The Hall of Fame recognizes individuals for their outsourcing achievements as well as their contributions to community-based economic development and socially-directed investments, career development, education and training through outsourcing.

“Bill Concannon was ‘present at the creation’ of commercial real estate outsourcing. For more than 20 years, he has set a high standard of service excellence and helped us to build an outsourcing client roster that is second to none in the industry,” said Brett White, chief executive officer of CB Richard Ellis. “In light of all he’s done to foster broad adoption of outsourcing in the commercial real estate services industry, it is not surprising that Bill would be the first real commercial estate services professional selected for the prestigious IAOP Hall of Fame. We are extremely proud of him.”

“For a client service professional, there is no higher honor than joining the ‘best of the best’ in IAOP’s Hall of Fame and I am deeply humbled by this honor,” said Mr. Concannon. “It is also a recognition that could not have happened without our partnership with an incredible roster of clients and the hard work of my 31,000 CB Richard Ellis colleagues around the world, collaborating to deliver innovative commercial real estate solutions every day.”

Under Mr. Concannon’s leadership, CB Richard Ellis’ outsourcing business had one of its strongest years ever in 2010, with a total of 121 new contracts signed, including 62 with new customers around the world.

“CB Richard Ellis and the other companies on the Global Outsourcing 100 list are proven leaders and rising stars,” said IAOP Chairman Michael Corbett, also chair of the judges’ panel. “They are the companies you want to partner with to achieve success and better outsourcing outcomes.”
