CINCINNATI--()--Procter & Gamble Company’s (NYSE: PG) Brand leaders and more than 500 North America marketing employees came together for the fifth annual P&G North America Marketing Service Day. Improving both Cincinnati’s Clark Montessori High School and the North College Hill community, volunteers helped repair and build baseball and softball fields, paint interior spaces and even created a brand new community center for North College Hill residents in partnership with the Reds Community Fund.

“P&G’s purpose is grounded in improving lives,” Jodi L. Allen, Vice President of U.S. Operations and Marketing said, “I’m proud to be part of the more than 700 employee volunteers who are making a difference in their own communities.”

The Cincinnati Reds showed their support at Cincinnati’s Clark Montessori High School, home of the Reds Community Fund Brandon Phillips Baseball Field, and at Cincinnati’s Clark Montessori High School. The Reds Community Fund is dedicated to improving the lives of underserved boys and girls through baseball. Together at Clark Montessori, P&G employees, and Reds Chief Operating Officer, Phil Castellini, built a new softball field, repaired the Brandon Phillips field, landscaped the P&G field and spruced up locker rooms and offices.

“We are excited to continue to work with P&G to help improve the lives of the children in the Cincinnati and North College Hill communities,” Phil Castellini, Cincinnati Reds Chief Operating Officer, said. “In just one day, we have been able to repair our Brandon Phillips baseball field and even build a new softball field that will benefit hundreds of underserved children in our community.”

In addition to Clark Montessori, P&G marketing employees volunteered at Clovernook Elementary, turning the former school into a community center complete with a new baseball field, gardens, nature trails, arts & crafts areas, and much more.

“Our employees transformed the school, improving both interior and exterior areas by painting, landscaping, even painting murals,” Allen said. “Clovernook really has become the city’s center and kids and adults will enjoy all the amenities this public space has to offer.”

Outside of Cincinnati, more than 200 employees made a difference in ten additional community sites in the following locations: Fayetteville, AR; Bethel, CT; Boston; Chicago; Hunt Valley, MD; Miami; Minneapolis; New York; Woodland Hills, CA; and Puerto Rico.

The event received generous support in the form of food and materials from the following sponsors: Arlington Memorial Gardens, Hostess, JTM, Skally's (Old World Bakery) and Van Zandt's Restaurant & Tavern.
