Attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this Form 6-K is the report of independent registered public accounting firm to the shareholders and directors of Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (“CIBC”) with respect to CIBC’s 2022 annual financial statements which were filed on the date hereon as an exhibit to CIBC’s Annual Report on Form 40-F on the basis of their audit conducted under Canadian generally accepted auditing standards.

An unqualified report of independent registered public accounting firm to the shareholders and directors of CIBC with respect to CIBC’s 2022 annual financial statements on the basis of their audit conducted under the standards of the U.S. Public Company Accounting Oversight Board was included with CIBC’s 2022 annual financial statements filed as an exhibit to CIBC’s Annual Report on Form 40-F.
