Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(d) Election of Directors.

On May 14, 2008, the Board of Directors of Eclipsys Corporation elected John T. Casey and Craig Macnab to Eclipsys’ Board of Directors. Mr. Casey has been appointed to the Audit and Nominating & Governance Committees of the Board. Mr. Macnab has been appointed to the Compensation Committee of the Board.

There is no arrangement or understanding pursuant to which Mr. Casey and Mr. Macnab were selected as a director, and there are no related party transactions between Eclipsys and the two newly elected directors, reportable under Item 404(a) of Regulation S-K.

A copy of Eclipsys’ press release announcing Mr. Casey’s and Mr. Macnab’s election is attached as Exhibit 99.1 to this current report on Form 8-K.
