Item 8.01 - Other Events.

On June 16, 2021, Microsoft Corporation (the “Company”) announced that the independent members of the Company’s board of directors unanimously elected chief executive officer Satya Nadella to the role of board chair and John W. Thompson to the role of lead independent director.
