Item 5.02. Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

(b)    Robert Lord has stepped down from the Board of Directors (the “Board”) of Williams-Sonoma, Inc. (the “Company”) effective December 16, 2019. Mr. Lord served as a valued member of the Board since October 5, 2017, and his decision to resign was not due to any disagreement with the Company (as described in Item 5.02(a) of Form 8-K). The Company thanks Mr. Lord for his service.
