On January 8, 2008, The Procter & Gamble Company (the "Company") issued a news release announcing that Patricia A. Woertz was appointed to the Board of Directors, effective immediately. Ms. Woertz will serve on the Audit Committee and the Governance & Public Responsibility Committee.
