Item 8.01. Other Events
     On March 13, 2009, Trico Marine Services, Inc. (the “Company”) issued a press release announcing that the Company’s Board of Directors has fixed the close of business on April 17, 2009 as the record date for determination of the stockholders entitled to notice of, and to vote at, the Company’s 2009 Annual Meeting of Stockholders. Trico also announced that it expects to deliver proxy materials to all stockholders, including a WHITE proxy card, on or about May 1, 2009.
     A copy of the press release is furnished as an Exhibit and is incorporated herein by reference.
