Item 8.01 Other Events
On June 6, 2023, The Dixie Group, Inc. announced it had entered into an agreement for the sale and leaseback of its distribution facility in Adairsville, Georgia. The Company anticipates that the transaction will close in the third quarter of 2023; however, closing is subject to the prospective purchaser’s right of inspection and approval.
It is anticipated that proceeds expected to be generated by the transaction will be used to reduce the Company’s debt and increase availability under its existing lines of credit.
