INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Republic Airways Holdings (NASDAQ: RJET), today reported preliminary passenger traffic results for May 2011. The Company generated 1.9 billion revenue passenger miles (RPMs), a 2% increase from the same month last year, while capacity was up 1% to 2.3 billion available seat miles (ASMs). Block hours were 82,515 in May 2011, unchanged from May 2010. Consolidated load factor was 82%, unchanged from May 2010. Over 2.8 million passengers were carried during the month, a 1% reduction from the same month last year.
