Item 8.01 Other Events
On January 5, 2021, Tanger Factory Outlets Centers, Inc. issued a press release announcing the implementation of the executive succession plan initially outlined in April 2020. As of January 1, 2021, Steven B. Tanger has transitioned to Executive Chair of the Company’s Board of Directors, effective through January 1, 2024, and Stephen J. Yalof has assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Company. David B. Henry, previously Non-Executive Chair of the Board, has been appointed to Lead Director.
