Video transcript:

A message from our CEO and Founder Steve Burns:

“Hi I’m Steve Burns, I’m CEO and Founder of Lordstown Motors. Today, I am very excited to announce we are merging with DiamondPeak. DiamondPeak is a special purpose acquisition company and the business combination will be a publicly listed firm. I’m standing here in our factory in Lordstown, Ohio.  We purchased this factory from General Motors. General Motors has been a great helper as our company marches toward production of our first vehicle next year. Our first vehicle is the Endurance, all-electric pickup truck. It is the first electric full-size pickup truck to come to market. It has zero emissions, it’s all electric. It gets the equivalent of 75 miles per gallon, so imagine a pickup truck getting 75 miles per gallon. And no compromises. This vehicle should have better traction than any pickup truck ever conceived. It has a motor in each wheel. It has only four moving parts in its drivetrain. You know a typical four-wheel drive pickup truck will have over 2,000 moving parts in its drivetrain. We’ve completely reinvented the pickup truck here. So we’re very excited. The financing that comes from being publicly listed is the last piece we needed as we march towards production in 2021. We’ve really been putting a prototype through the paces, and we’ve released a video that shows it in its typical work environment. We have farmers and construction workers, and hauling, towing, dirt, mud. Really cool. We’re really proud of the way it’s performing. This is a hardworking truck for hardworking people. I’d like to thank our partners, DiamondPeak and General Motors. I’d like to thank all our team members. And I invite everyone to ride with Lordstown.”
